Wednesday August 21st - BBQ at Sue's
A very big thank you to Sue and Keith for hosting this event again this year,
and for all their hard work preparing their house and garden for the invasion,
and for dealing with the aftermath.
Special thanks too, to Janet, Colin, Chris and Dean who slaved over the hot barbies
to ensure a steady flow of cooked goodies to satisfy everyone's appetites.
A great time was had by all - lots of variety of good food and drink in plenty,
and a convivial atmosphere.

Annual Dinner and Presentation of Trophies
Our annual dinner was held this year on 23 January 2019, once again at La Flambe restaurant in Sutton Benger.
There was a very good turnout of members and guests, who were treated to a selection of a-la-carte choices from La Flambe's excellent menu. The food, service and company were all excellent - everyone had a most enjoyable time. Thanks to Colin and Janet who did the bulk of the organising.
The Chairman, Colin, presented The Eileen Harding shield to Ken and Janet for the second successive year. Sue accepted the Marjorie Cox Trophy on behalf of herself and Chris. Colin presented the Robin Sutton trophy, won by himself and Pat, to her.
Finally, all the ladies attending were each given a long stem carnation and gifts were presented to various other club members in recognition of their work for the club during the year.
